Hospital charity winter ball to have a ‘Strictly’ Latin flavour
27 November 2014
On the run up to Christmas many of us are gripped by Strictly fever and the Southend Hospital charity ball this year is no exception as performing will be the current British champions in Latin dance.
Performing under the award winning Karen Hardy Studios banner
Ryan McShane and Ksenia Zsikhotska, who have been dance partners
for over five years, UK & British Champions were also 2014
Britain's Got Talent semi-finalists and have appeared on Sky1's Got
to Dance, all of which means the Strictly Fever Winter Ball is set
to be a memorable evening of entertainment and food.
The evening, which takes place on Saturday 6 December at Orsett
Hall runs from 7pm - 1am and costs £50 per person, which includes a
welcome drink, three course meal, half a bottle of wine and live
entertainment from Ryan and Ksenia, as well as live music from
Lucy Thomas-Clayton, associate director community engagement at
the hospital, said: "We only host our ball once every two years so
it really is a highlight of our charity calendar and Ryan and
Ksenia of Karen Hardy Studios are sure to add some serious seasonal
sparkle and glamour to what is set to be a fantastic evening of
food and fun that sees our fundraising efforts end on a real high
Money raised from the hotly anticipated event will be going
towards the hospital's Keyhole Cancer Appeal, which has already
raised £100,000 through donations and fundraising this year.
The event is kindly sponsored by Essex Radio and tickets are
still available by calling 01702 385337.
