Egg-cellent Easter donation from the CCG

Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group donated Easter eggs to a Southend University Hospital ward for patients in hospital over the weekend.
The CCG collected over 50 chocolate eggs from staff donations
and handed them out to poorly patients on Southbourne ward.
Danielle Harris, Southbourne ward manager, said: "We would like
to say thank you. It's a lovely gesture. The eggs will put a smile
on the patients' faces."
Head of Performance and Corporate Services for NHS Castle Point
& Rochford CCG, Michelle Angell, said: "Everyone at the CCG
wanted to do something to help people who are going to be spending
the Easter weekend on the wards at Southend Hospital; I hope they
enjoy our Easter egg donation."
