Whether you are a magician, singer, dancer, musician, impressionist, comedian or perhaps something else, the Southend Hospital’s Got Talent auditions are just for you. The next round of auditions takes place on Monday 13 June from 7pm onwards at The Roslin Hotel, Thorpe Esplanade.
The audition and event are raising money for the dementia appeal
at the hospital, so it's not just a great platform for local talent
but is also raising money for a very good cause.
Michael Daley, dementia practitioner at Southend University
Hospital, co-created and organises the annual talent show, now in
its fifth year. He said: "Southend Hospital's Got Talent has always
supported dementia in A&E at Southend, so it's great to get
behind our new hospital-wide dementia appeal."
And Michael has already spied some of the talent on show from
the first audition. He added: "We've had eight great acts through
to the show and are hoping to see some more amazing acts at our
next audition."
Entry fee for the audition is £5 and you can get an application
form by calling Michael on 01702 435555 ext, 6146 or by emailing michael.daley@southend.nhs.uk.
