Hospital recruitment day in August
07 July 2016
On Saturday 13 August, Southend Hospital is holding a recruitment open day for registered nurses, operating department practitioners (ODPs) and diagnostic imaging professionals.
Southend has opened its doors to potential new recruits on
several occasions this year, enabling people interested in working
at the hospital to find out more, ask questions and interview all
on the same dedicated recruitment day.
Nurses and staff from all specialities, plus staff from the
Ladybird Nursery and the staff benefits team will be on hand to
talk about their roles at Southend and the benefits available to
staff who join the team.
The event will run from 9am - 3pm and is open to registered
nurses, ODPs and diagnostic imaging professionals with no booking
required. Anyone interested in attending for an interview
should pre-book online via the following link, http://bit.ly/joinSouthendNHS.
There will be interview slots available on the day and after the
event for those who don't pre-book an interview.
Deputy Chief Nurse Cheryl Schwarz said "We have a great team
here at Southend Hospital and we are excited about welcoming new
recruits into the Trust. We have been successful in
interviewing and recruiting new nurses on the day at the other
