There are 10 available places to fill for this year’s RideLondon 100 where those taking part can cycle raising money for a for a Southend University Hospital ward, department or appeal of their choice.

This year's Prudential RideLondon 100 takes place on Sunday 31 July and more than 25,000 riders are this year expected to participate.

It all starts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey's stunning countryside. The leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world's best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics makes it a truly spectacular event for all involved.  The ride then finishes on the stunning The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
