Oncology ward including haematology and palliative care.

Ward details

On Estuary ward we try to ensure that the patient is treated in a holistic way. We involve the families as much as they want to be involved and support them throughout their time on the ward.

We look after patients with cancer aged 18 years onwards. We have four side rooms and two seven bedded bays.  One for men and one for woman.

We also operate a transfusion room located behind the main reception on the right hand side of the ward, which contains six chairs and is used for blood transfusions.

The previous occupants in Estuary Ward were Medicine for the elderly, rheumatology, general medicine and moved to Southborne ward.
