Princess Anne is a dual functioning 25 bedded Ward. One function being a discharge planning unit and the other focusing on direct admissions from emergency department (A&E), acute medical unit and day assessment unit for elderly patients.

The ward is a unique unit where elderly patients requiring medical care including some rehabilitation aimed to assist them to achieve their goals and maintain their independence, resulting in a safe discharge.

The ward work as a multidisciplinary team with doctors, nurses, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, rehabilitation assistants, social workers, dieticians and health care assistants.

Visiting hours are between 07:00 and 21:00.

Please restrict visitor numbers to a maximum of two per patient unless previously arranged with the ward manager.

We have protected Meal times. Appointments can be made to talk to doctors.
