Medicine for the elderly (also referred to as DME)
Windsor Ward is a medical ward for the over 65s. We provide care
for patients with complex medical and social issues.
We work closely with the patients and their families to give
high standards of care, working with many specialities to enable a
seamless journey for the patient from admission to discharge.
The ward team comprises of 2 consultants who are dementia
specialists, 4 ward doctors, a matron, Ward Manager, trained
nurses, health care assistants, physiotherapist, physio assistant,
ADLA, Discharge co-ordinator and social workers.

Visiting hours are between 07:00 and 21:00 with protected
