Clinical Indications
Bruising, recurrent severe nose bleeds, menorrhagia,
postoperative bleeding, relevant family history
It is strongly suggested to request a Bleeding disorder screen
instead unless investigating a known case of von Willbrands
disease.
Test includes Von Willbrand factor antigen and activity
levels

Patient should ideally be at rest, be bled with minimum statis
and not in acute phase reaction
