Delivery suite

If your pregnancy has not been straightforward, then you are likely to have your baby in the delivery suite, although you can still choose to have your baby in the delivery suite if your pregnancy has been uncomplicated.

Our delivery suite is purpose-built with dedicated professionals available 24 hours  to ensure that you and your baby are cared for during your labour and birth.  There are six labour rooms, a five bedded observation ward, two obstetric theatres and a two bedded recovery room.  All rooms have access to birthing aids, such as birth balls and stools to encourage an active labour.  We will support you in every way we can in having a positive birth experience.
